Role
We are looking for a creative and data‑driven Social Media Manager to lead our online social media presence and community engagement across all social platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that grows our brand and community, whilst creating and executing our Affiliate & Creator Programs to drive measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a results‑driven social media strategy aligned with brand and marketing objectives
* Create, schedule, and publish high‑quality content (organic and paid) across platforms including Instagram, TikTok and Youtube
* Plan and manage the social content calendar in collaboration with internal creative and marketing teams for MARCHON’s main, Training & Gyms pages
* Manage the Creator and Affiliate Programs, recruiting new affiliates, managing relationships, providing assets, brief content, and track performance to drive revenue growth
* Create UGC‑style content (if needed) for TikTok and Instagram
* Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and industry news to keep the brand relevant and innovative
* Engage with the community by responding to comments, DMs, mentions, and user‑generated content in a timely and brand‑appropriate tone
* Track and report on key metrics including reach, engagement, growth, and ROI; provide insights and recommendations for ongoing optimisation
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience managing social media for a brand or agency
* Proven ability to grow and engage a social following organically
* Strong knowledge of key social platforms, algorithms, best practices, and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite)
* Proficient in social media scheduling & analytics
* Confidence in creating and editing UGC content
* Strong understanding of the fitness industry
* Data‑savvy with experience analysing metrics and using insights to guide content strategy
* Strong understanding of brand tone, audience targeting, and trend‑based marketing
Nice to Have
* Experience creating short‑form video content (e.g., Reels, TikToks)
* Basic photography or video editing skills
