Job Title: Operations Team Member
Location: Loughborough (with potential onsite work across the UK and internationally)
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 (flexibility required, including evenings, mornings, weekends, and bank holidays)
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Operations Team Member to support the day-to-day running of a busy operational environment. This is a varied, hands-on role involving warehouse operations, logistics, and occasional onsite event support both in the UK and internationally.
Essential Requirements
1. Full UK Driving Licence
2. Experience working in a project-based or varied work environment
3. Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
4. Good IT skills
5. Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
6. Professional attitude and work ethic
7. Proactive, flexible, and self-motivated approach
8. Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and being on your feet for extended periods
Warehouse Duties
9. Wrap and package items for safe transportation to events
10. Retrieve and return items from storage facilities
11. Load and unload vehicles
12. Assist with picking, preparation, testing, maintenance, repairs, and fabrication of equipment, scenery, furniture, and props
13. Carry out stock checks
14. Clean equipment and maintain a tidy working environment
15. Support general maintenance of facilities
Logistics
16. Drive company vans and cars to deliver and collect equipment from sites and suppliers
On-Site Support
17. Travel to UK and (occasionally) international locations to support live events
18. Assist with the setup and dismantling (derig) of equipment, scenery, furniture, and props
19. Work under the direction of the Project Manager while onsite
Wider Responsibilities
20. Support all departments with operational requirements
21. Work in line with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
22. Undertake additional duties as required to support project delivery and department efficiency
Desirable
23. FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence
24. IPAF 3A & 3B certifications
Additional Requirements
25. Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays (especially during onsite work)
26. Ability to handle and lift large and/or heavy equipment
