Graduate Civil Engineer – Regulated Water (Manchester)

We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Water sector team in Manchester. The role is part of our Graduate Development Programme (GDP), a structured two‑year scheme that combines blended learning, mentoring, progress reviews and networking, supported by on‑the‑job projects.
Responsibilities
* Work within a multi‑disciplinary team to design water treatment plants, pumping stations, and distribution networks that supply drinking water.
* Design wastewater treatment plants and drainage network assets to improve water quality.
* Design pressure and gravity pipelines.
* Design site layouts for a diverse range of markets, including water, datacentres, and energy.
* Prepare feasibility studies for new water and wastewater assets, including regional transfer projects such as the RAPID SRO programme.
* Deliver projects on agreed timeframes and budgets, striving for technical excellence.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree or master’s level qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering or similar.
* Self‑starter, flexible, and keen to drive your career forward.
* Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new skills.
* Permanent right to work in the UK.
