As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
* Carrying out a variety of routine building repairs to maintain and enhance the Care Home's fabric.
* Performing day-to-day maintenance tasks, including minor decoration, to ensure a safe, comfortable and homely environment for residents.
* In all duties, you will prioritise the health, safety and wellbeing of residents, their families, and staff.
* Painting and decorating.
* Conducting minor repairs.
* Replacing light bulbs and other fixtures.
* Hanging pictures and fittings.
* Repairing or replacing door furniture.
* Installing shelves and TV brackets.
* Replacing stained or damaged ceiling tiles.
* Carrying out routine inspections of the Home and reporting maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Manager.
* Cleaning outdoor areas such as footpaths, waste and parking zones, including snow and ice clearance.
* Assisting with moving furniture, including tables and hospital beds.
* Undertaking additional duties, as required, to support the smooth operation of the Home, as directed by the Home Manager or Housekeeping Manager.
