Personal Care Assistant for a History Uni Student Ask Jules are looking for a motivated Care Assistant to join our clients existing care team to support a young university student based in Macclesfield. Start Date: March 2026 Job Title: Personal Care Assistant Location: Macclesfield (SK10) Shifts: mix of live in and hourly (rota is set 3 week in advance) Rate of pay:2 live-in shifts (£220 per shift) 2-3 hourly shifts 8-4pm £16 per hour (£128 per shift) About The Job: This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference in somebody elses life. Our client is confident in his ability and lives in his flat with the support of like-minded individuals to assist him with: - Personal Care - Health Care - Social Support - Daily Living - Housekeeping / Domestic duties - Commuting to and from university And medical appointments. Purpose of the Job: To deliver high quality professional care whilst supporting the individual in all aspects of his daily routine. Meal prep, shopping and light domestic duties to look after the accommodation, socialising, arranging day trips, stock control, personal care, safe guarding, driving are all duties within this role. As written by the client: I am studying History at Manchester University. I have decided to live at home and travel into Uni each day or as my course dictates. I have cerebral palsy which affects all four limbs. I use a manual wheelchair but I am unable to propel it myself so would need your help to move about the campus. I have a good sense of humour and love films and music, all genres. I enjoy strategy and historical games. Game of thrones, Assassin creed. I have a small dog, who likes to be with me occasionally whilst I am at home and I would need help to walk him on a occassion. This is a busy role but there is also room for some down time each day.
