The Role We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Digital Building Engineer (Controls & BMS) to join our team at NDY. This pivotal position will allow you to play a significant role in enhancing the built environment across various sectors, including Commercial, Residential, Hotel, Retail, Industrial, Laboratories, and Data Centres. You will be a vital part of the Digital Building team, gathering requirements from stakeholders, developing design and engineering solutions, and collaborating with a dynamic group of professionals to innovate the building landscape. Key Challenges: Gather requirements from stakeholders and understand client problems and opportunities to determine desired outcomes. Develop design and engineering requirements for smart building installations of varying complexity. Coordinate smart building and controls design with other building services disciplines and external parties. Prepare technical reports and presentations, conveying complex technical concepts to a diverse audience. Ensure adherence to NDY's Quality System on projects and take part in personal and professional development training. Act as a trusted advisor in all aspects of BMS and Smart Building design and solutions. Prepare and deliver blue sky aspirational workshops with clients and key stakeholders. Ability to support marketing and business development activities. Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, combined with equivalent training, accreditation, and at least three years of industry experience in BMS, controls, or Smart Buildings. Demonstrable experience in engineering building controls or integration, writing specifications, and drafting technical reports. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and technical teams, ensuring concepts are understood across varying levels of expertise. Proficiency with BMS systems knowledge and familiarity with Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Why Work For Us?
