The Role We are seeking a Junior Backend Developer to join the OASIS Technology organisation. You will be responsible for working as part of an internal development team to create and release software products, using modern architecture, processes, and tools, supporting our clients to manage their digital information and streamline their business processes using SAAS solutions. Key Responsibilities Engaging in the complete application lifecycle. Work closely with the internal development teams to build and improve the web applications. Focus on the backend and bring new features/enhancements to life for our clients. Keep up to date with best practice development toolsets and the ability to master new/ emerging technologies. Team player with a positive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate Requirements Recent professional experience in a developer role. A passion for providing an excellent customer experience through intuitive easy to use working software. Working with Agile ceremonies (Sprints, Daily Stand-up’s, Retros etc). Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps. Exposure to or an understanding of API’s, Microservices and Containers. Some commercial experience of developing or working with any of following toolsets: · .Net Core · Elastic Search · Minio · RabbitMQ · Redis · SQL Server Some commercial experience working with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes and Linux is preferred but not essential.
