Join Our Team as an Employment Job Coach Coordinator

Location: Norwich & Paston | Part-time, 29.6 hours | Permanent

£33,085 - £35,045 per annum

Department: Inclusive Learning, Aspire & MINT

Are you passionate about empowering and supporting young people with barriers to work to achieve their career goals? We’re looking for a proactive and organised Employment Job Coach Coordinator to lead and support our dedicated team of Job Coaches who work on our MINT and Work Matters provisions across our Norwich and Paston sites, and host employer workplaces.

About the Role

As the Employment Job Coach Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting young people with barriers to work on their journey into employment or training. You’ll manage a caseload, coordinate referrals, and oversee the delivery of impactful employability support. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines direct support, team leadership, and administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities

· Providing weekly 1:1 support to young people on your caseload across Norwich and Paston.

· Recording meetings and progress on electronic Individual Learning Plans (eILPs).

· Delivery of Work Skills sessions (paid at sessional teaching rate) and 1:1 job coaching at Paston.

· The option to lead employability workshops at City College Norwich (CCN).

· Track and monitor the destinations for young people who have successfully moved into work.

· Attend CPD sessions to stay current with best practices.

· Complete and submit (Additional Learning Support) ALS returns.

Administrative & Coordination Duties

· Monitor and respond to Mint enquiries throughout the day.

· Process referrals and schedule Employment Profile meetings.

· Allocate young people to appropriate case lists.

· Manage resources and archiving.

Line Management Responsibilities

· Conduct Job Coach reviews and mid-year appraisals.

· Undertake Learning walks.

· Hold regular case reviews with Mint Job Coaches.

· Support off-site visits and reviews for Work Matters and Paston Ticket.

· Authorise annual leave and mileage/expenses claims.

· Monitor and manage absence notifications via GoodShape.

· Complete Return to Work meetings and associated documentation.

· Experience working with young people in an employability or educational setting.

· Confident in managing a team and coordinating multiple priorities.

· Proficient in digital systems for tracking progress and communication.
