We are recruiting for a handyperson to complete compliance checks within commercial facilities such as fire door checks, tap temps and emergency lighting etc. The role is a permanent position paying circa 31k. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week. On-call TBC.
The work will cover facilities across the North West of England.
Fabric Maintenance Handyperson Description:
Completing compliance checks and recording the results to:
Fire doors (visual inspection)
Emergency lighting
Tap temps and system flushing
The role will also involve general handyperson/caretaker tasks within each facility
Entry of compliance data into the database and ensure records are accurate
Liaise with the central helpdesk and maintenance engineers
Handyperson Requirements:
To have maintenance and handyperson experience
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Ability and desire to complete compliance checks (training provided to).
Valid driving license
Possible DBS check require depending on facilities covered
