Sales Advisor Location: County Durham Salary: £30,000 Basic OTE: £50,000 Working Pattern: Thursday – Monday An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Advisor to join an award-winning housebuilder on a development in County Durham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded business that places customer experience at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding customers through one of the most important purchases of their lives, delivering an exceptional home-buying journey from initial enquiry through to legal completion and handover. The role would suit someone with a passion for customer service, strong sales ability, and the drive to deliver an outstanding customer experience. The Role • Providing an exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to legal completion and handover • Managing the customer journey and supporting purchasers through every stage of the buying process • Working closely with the Project Manager to deliver quality homes and an outstanding customer experience • Generating and converting sales opportunities to achieve development targets • Negotiating sales and securing reservations • Collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Project Management teams to drive visitor numbers and sales performance • Liaising with solicitors, estate agents, mortgage advisors and other stakeholders to progress transactions efficiently • Managing reservations, contracts, exchanges and completions through internal systems • Guiding customers through specification choices and options selections • Maintaining exceptional presentation standards across the sales office, show homes and development • Ensuring brand standards are consistently delivered • Producing clear and accurate correspondence and maintaining up-to-date customer records • Monitoring competitor activity and providing market feedback to management • Supporting the successful launch and ongoing promotion of the development The Person • Previous experience within New Homes Sales • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional experiences • Strong negotiation and objection-handling abilities • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail • Comfortable managing multiple customers and deadlines simultaneously • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems • Commercially aware and target-driven • Adaptable and resilient within a fast-paced environment • Positive, enthusiastic and eager to learn • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle What's on Offer • £30,000 Basic Salary • OTE £50,000 • Quarterly bonus scheme worth up to £10,000 per annum • Commission on extras sales • 55p per mile mileage allowance (first 10,000 miles annually) • 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays • Option to purchase up to 5 additional days annual leave • Healthcare Scheme • Company Pension Scheme Working Hours Thursday: • Summer: 12:00pm – 7:00pm • Winter: 11:00am – 6:00pm Friday – Monday: • 10:00am – 5:00pm Training & Development The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive induction programme, including training on live developments and time spent with the wider business.
