What You’ll Be Doing:
* Setting up engaging and well-organised classrooms
* Listening to children read and sharing stories with them
* Supporting pupils who need a little extra help to succeed
* Assisting teachers with planning and record-keeping
* Helping manage classroom behaviour in a positive way
* Supervising group activities and encouraging teamwork
* Providing care and comfort when children are upset or unwell
* Keeping learning spaces tidy and ready for action
* Supporting school trips and outdoor learning
* Helping with admin tasks to keep things running smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
* A Level 2 or higher qualification in Childcare or as a Teaching Assistant
* Solid understanding of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum
* Experience working with primary-aged children
* Confidence in managing behaviour with empathy and consistency
* A commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences
* A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine love for working with children
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
