Role Overview
Our Client is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to guide financial institutions through the adoption of enterprise SaaS platforms. This role requires deep expertise in end-to-end architecture—from legacy systems through modern SaaS environments—and the ability to influence, advise, and support both pre-sales and delivery teams across multi-disciplinary and multi-geographic environments.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead banks through SaaS modernization by applying expert knowledge of end-to-end architecture spanning legacy systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise SaaS.
* Articulate the business value of our Client’s platform within each customer's architectural context.
* Work collaboratively across internal product, engineering, sales, and delivery teams, as well as with external customers and industry partners.
* Ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, strategically aligned, and supportive of customer business objectives and modernization roadmaps.
* Engage in continuous discovery, architecture refinement, and solution communication from pre-sales through implementation.

* Partner with clients to understand business priorities and co-create architectural roadmaps that demonstrate the value of our Client’s SaaS platform.
Drive Enterprise SaaS Architecture Excellence
* Provide end-to-end architectural guidance—from legacy transformation to cloud-native design—ensuring technical robustness, scalability, and alignment with business strategy.
Foster High-Performing, Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Collaborate across engineering, product, sales, and delivery teams.
* Mentor solution architects and engineers, promoting shared ownership and best practices.
Role Components
* Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal SMEs, technical leaders, and business stakeholders.
* Client-Facing Leadership: Interface directly with customers to assess needs, shape architectures, and support successful delivery outcomes.
Required Technical Skills
* Strong enterprise SaaS experience with deep understanding of end-to-end product architectures.
* Background in banking platforms, core banking systems, modernization, pricing, and billing across retail, corporate, and commercial banking.
* Experience designing scalable, secure, reliable systems using microservices, APIs, and integration frameworks.
* Proficiency with CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automation tooling, and cloud-native patterns.
* Knowledge of identity management, encryption, and regulatory standards (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001).
* Ability to produce clear architectural artifacts (HLDs, LLDs, sequence diagrams, integration patterns) to guide development teams.
Role Expectations
* Senior or Director level leadership.
* Ability to shape strategy, influence executive stakeholders, and operate autonomously.
* Experience leading cross-team and cross-geography initiatives.
* 8+ years in banking/banking technology and 12+ years overall architecture experience (minimum).
Pre-Sales Responsibilities
* Act as the technical advisor to Sales, shaping solution narratives and tailoring demos.
* Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand pain points and define high-level solution architectures.
* Support RFP/RFI responses, technical presentations, and architectural discussions during the sales cycle.
* Identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early to influence solution strategy.
* Ensure alignment between Sales and Delivery to guarantee feasibility and scalability of proposed solutions.
