Our coveted Campus Ambassador positions are open to first-year students or second year students of a four-year degree, who wish to perform the role during their penultimate year at university. It’s a fantastic way to gain valuable work experience and find out about the firm. You'll also be paid a competitive salary for the year.
You'll attend a training day where you will meet with the Graduate Recruitment team and your university's alumni team which consists of a number of Partners, Associates and Trainees. After that, you’ll be actively involved in putting together a campaign to promote Herbert Smith Freehills to your fellow students on campus - informing them about both the firm and the opportunities available to them.
Our Campus Ambassador positions are open to first-year students or second year students on a four-year course, who are interested in performing this role during their penultimate year on campus.
In order to apply, you will need to complete our online application form and our online test. We will then interview you via telephone in spring 2024. If you are successful in gaining a Campus Ambassador position and decide to apply for a vacation scheme in your penultimate year, you will not need to retake the blended online assessment and we will fast-track your application to review stage.
We are looking for students who demonstrate a strong academic performance to date and have shown initiative by getting involved in lots of different things at university. At interview we will want to understand why you are interested in the firm, what you can bring to the role and how you will work with us to promote our activities on campus.
Applications are open from 1 January 2024 - 31 March 2024 to students studying at a UK university in their first year or second year of a four year course.

We strive to ensure that our inclusive environment means you feel valued and able to perform at your best by being your authentic self at work.
