Do you want to play a key role in an amazing team at an exciting time for the STEM department?

Chichester College’s STEM Department is seeking an Instructor Technician to assist the Automotive, Motor Sport, Motorcycle and wider STEM Team with day-to-day support and instruction in the workshop and classroom areas.

As our Instructor Technician in STEM, you will instruct and supervise students to ensure success in theory and practical sessions and provide technical support to staff and students, including on the safe use of equipment. You will be joining the College’s STEM department at an exciting time. Our new multi-million pound STEM facility has recently opened. Standing at four storeys, the new building is home to a suite of modern teaching and interactive spaces including automotive and engineering workshops which will house facilities enabling students to train with composites, robotics, materials, renewable energies, additive manufacturing, CAD, CNC, electric and hybrid vehicle technology, as well as petrol and diesel vehicles. There will also be dedicated suites for computing and an array of modern science laboratories.

There is also a requirement to support the Chichester College race team on some weekends.

Our Instructor Technician in STEM will hold at least a Level 2 in a relevant subject area and be able to apply Health and Safety policies and procedures across the STEM curriculum area. You will also have relevant industry or subject experience.
