Job Title: Business Development Manager – Water Hygiene/ Treatment
Location: South East England
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Car Allowance + Commission + Bonus + Pension + Private Healthcare
OTE: £65K+
Summary
An established, employee-owned environmental services company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Facilities Management and end-user sectors. This field-based role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and offering compliance-led water hygiene and treatment solutions. Full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business in FM and compliance-driven sectors
* Meet with key decision-makers and present tailored solutions
* Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
* Maintain and grow existing accounts
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery
* Attend industry events and stay up to date with compliance standards (e.g. ACoP L8, HSG274)
Requirements
* 5+ years’ B2B sales experience, ideally in water hygiene or FM
* Strong knowledge of compliance and risk management
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* CRM experience and full UK driving licence required
