Principal Clinical Scientist
AfC Band 8A (Annex 21 band 7)

Responsibilities
* Participate in all aspects of the department including reporting, clinical liaison, research and innovation, teaching and audit.
* We are looking for someone with an interest in endocrinology and tandem mass spectrometry.
Qualifications and experience
* HCPC registered Clinical Scientist
* MSc or equivalent
* Part 1 FRCPath
* A minimum of 4 years’ clinical biochemistry experience (or 3 years’ experience for appointment under AfC annex 21)
* The department is fully committed to professional and personal development and will support the successful applicant in achieving full FRCPath.
