Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Laboratory Operations Manager, the main purpose of the role will be to effectively and safely:
1. perform sample nutrient extraction procedures
2. prepare soil nutrient extraction solutions
3. carry out analysis of samples
4. use a variety of analytical methods.
There is also a great opportunity to be involved in the project development of new processes.
Profile
We are looking for a highly motivated Laboratory Technician who can demonstrate initiative and attention to detail within a quality controlled environment in addition to:
5. 5 GCSE level ideally including English, Maths and a science
6. Relevant experience in a related industry/laboratory
7. Good numeracy and writing skills
8. Good communication skills
