Youth Dreams Project Ltd is a small business in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to deliver the highest standard of sports coaching, providing opportunities for as many young people as possible. We pride ourselves on our passionate delivery and commitment to positively impact the lives of the young people we get the privilege to coach.
Through sport, we can build self-esteem, give young people an outlet, encourage positive life choices and help them in every possible way to be happy and succeed in life. We will introduce our HAF children to a variety of different sports, encouraging them to try them all.
We want to inspire, motivate and enthuse the young people we meet, through fun sessions that leave a lasting impression.
We're looking for a committed individual with past coaching experience to join our team. The Sports Coach is responsible for planning and delivering sports sessions in a number of Primary and Secondary Schools around the Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire area.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with children ranging from reception-aged to teens. They will be an exceptional coach with ambition to inspire and develop students. They will need to plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions. They will be required to build on the already positive working relationship with the school, continuing the rapport with students and ensuring that they receive the right support to give them the best possible chance to improve and develop their sports skills.
Working individually and as part of a team, they will be responsible for running PE lessons, half term camps and before/after school clubs with the opportunity to be involved in 1-1 sessions, and playing a key role in the growth of the company.
Ideal skills, certificates and qualifications required for the role:
* Minimum Level 2 Sports Coaching or above
* Enhanced DBS
* Safeguarding Children
* First Aid Training
* Driving licence
Responsibilities:
* Planning and evaluting PE sessions and before and after school clubs.
* Champion an all-star team culture.
* Be a knowledgeable source for tips and tricks to play various sports
Pay: £11-£15 per hour
Working Hours: As a guide, your normal hours of work will be 9-4.30pm (Monday - Friday). Please note, these hours may differ.
