Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and sports coaching, with the ability to educate and inspire young athletes. This role involves developing training programmes, teaching gymnastics skills, and fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants. The candidate will be required to work within various schools around Sheffield assisting other coaches in the delivery of gymnastics in after school clubs and lunchtime clubs.
Duties
* Implement age-appropriate gymnastics training programmes that cater to various skill levels.
* Educate students on proper techniques, safety measures, and the importance of physical fitness.
* Conduct regular training sessions, ensuring that each participant receives individual attention and guidance.
* Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their skills.
* Organise and supervise sessions with other coaches
* Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any areas for improvement.
* Assist along side other coaches in Lunchtime and after school clubs
Skills
* Strong background in gymnastics with experience in sports coaching.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate students and liaise with parents.
* Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while fostering a supportive atmosphere.
* Strong organisational skills
* Knowledge of safety protocols related to gymnastics training.
* Patience and adaptability to work with children of varying ages and abilities.
