This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in delivering high-quality, customer-focused services that ensure a seamless transition for our residents. You’ll be at the heart of our resident journey—conducting take-to-view appointments, managing move-out visits, and resolving utility meter issues with preferred energy providers. You’ll prepare tenancy support service plans, upload required documentation, and maintain accurate records on our computer systems daily. Your role will also involve handling emails and customer queries with professionalism, taking ownership from start to finish to ensure positive outcomes. We’re seeking someone with excellent communication skills, a strong grasp of BCC policies and procedures related to voids and lettings, and a sharp focus on performance. You’ll need to manage time effectively, juggle competing priorities with ease, and demonstrate confident problem-solving abilities. Your commitment to delivering results and resolving issues swiftly will help us maintain high standards and improve turnaround times. This role involves independent working and requires adherence to Birmingham City Council’s health and safety policies, including regular system checks. You’ll collaborate across multiple departments, teams, and external agencies to ensure a joined-up approach to service delivery. We’re looking for someone who is IT literate, holds a full driving licence, and has access to a vehicle. A car allowance will be paid in line with BCC’s mileage policy. You’ll need to demonstrate resilience, sound decision-making under pressure, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. As a performance-driven role, you’ll be expected to meet key KPIs and contribute to reducing void and rent loss by letting properties quickly and efficiently. Flexibility is essential, as you’ll be required to cover emergencies, sickness, and annual leave, and work city-wide to provide wraparound support. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, solution-focused, and committed to making a difference for our citizens. If you have a can-do attitude and enjoy working under pressure, we’d love to hear from you. Please upload an up-to-date CV and Personal Statement via the attachments part of your application.
