Assistant Headteacher: Standards (Student Progress and Attainment)

We are excited to be able to appoint an outstanding practitioner to join our school as Assistant Headteacher. This is a new post that has arisen because Somervale is growing rapidly and is an exciting opportunity for someone to play a significant part in the further development of this fantastic school.
Somervale School is an oversubscribed, high achieving, 11 to 18 mixed comprehensive school situated in Midsomer Norton on the outskirts of Bath and on the edge of Somerset. The school occupies a large attractively landscaped site with an excellent range of specialist accommodation and facilities. We are part of the Midsomer Norton School Partnership, a large diverse successful multi-academy trust.
We are an extremely successful oversubscribed medium sized school and that makes us unique in the local area. We have all the benefits of any other school with the added bonus of an attention to detail that you simply cannot achieve in a larger school.
