You will be working in the Building Services OU based in 51 Moorgate in where we are responsible for creating healthy workplaces, and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. Through collaboration and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions that make a lasting, positive impact for people and communities.
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance, response, and fault analysis of building operations.
As the Mechanical Engineer, you will:
1. Conduct PPM and planned maintenance, response, and fault analysis.
2. Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments, check and inspect electrical/mechanical services, plant, and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
3. When required, conduct reactive and Extra Work requirements in adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with HASAWA legislation and Our Way of Working.
4. Implement & comply with the procedures as detailed in the company’s Health & Safety Policies, Statutory obligations and in accordance with the Skanska IFE.
5. To ensure daily work sheets and maintenance & inspection records are completed and submitted on a timely basis.
We are looking for:
6. Electrical/Mechanical City & Guilds, Part 1 and 2 or ’A’ and ’B or equivalent, BMS experience and multi-skilling capability
7. Demonstrate understanding of statutory compliance HVAC and Water Treatment
8. Health & Safety IOSH Working Safely qualification or similar
9. Understanding relevant legislation and compliance associated with your key results areas
