About the Role

On behalf of our Kettering based client, Pertemps are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Office Administrator to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and administrative tasks. This is a standalone position, giving you full ownership of the accounts process and the opportunity to make a real impact in the smooth running of the business. It’s ideal for someone with solid Sage experience who enjoys working with numbers while also keeping office operations organised.


Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and update financial records using Sage accounting software.
* Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and promptly.
* Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end processes.
* Monitor and manage stock levels, raising purchase orders when needed.
* Prepare and send out customer invoices and statements.
* Handle parcel dispatches and liaise with couriers.
* Manage general office duties such as responding to emails, filing, and maintaining records in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Support management with financial reports and ad-hoc accounts tasks.


Skills & Experience Required

* Proven experience using Sage for bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and processes.
* Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Previous experience in an accounts/admin role preferred.
