What You’ll Be Doing
1. Lead and develop Mathematics across the school, setting a clear vision and high expectations.
2. Design, implement and review the Mathematics curriculum, policies and assessment frameworks.
3. Plan and deliver high-quality teaching that inspires and engages pupils
4. Teach individuals and small groups, adapting learning to meet diverse and complex needs
5. Deliver the curriculum through creative, engaging and practical learning experiences
6. Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress and achievement
7. Contribute to the School Development Plan and continuous improvement
8. Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
9. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence
10. Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), behaviour plans and other key documents
11. Take responsibility for subject areas and contribute to curriculum development
12. Create meaningful learning moments that pupils remember long after the lesson ends
What We’re Looking For
13. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
14. Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and assessment requirements.
15. Awareness of the SEND Code of Practice
16. A teacher who combines professional skill with empathy, resilience and enthusiasm.
17. Works collaboratively and contributes positively to school life
18. Is passionate about delivering inclusive, high-quality education across a range of learning pathways
19. Can build strong relationships and inspire pupils to succeed
20. Is organised, reflective and committed to continuous improvement
21. Has a strong belief that every pupil can succeed
22. Demonstrates a proactive, resilient approach and strong commitment to safeguarding
23. Holds a full UK driving licence
