You’ll manage a team of brokers, overseeing the sourcing and placement of care and support for residents with assessed needs. In this role, you’ll develop specialist knowledge, manage key systems, and lead the implementation of new brokerage arrangements, including eBrokerage and CareCubed. Your work will directly support residents while helping the Council deliver efficient, cost-effective services. What you’ll be doing: Lead and supervise a team of brokers, ensuring effective placement and brokerage activities. Work closely with Adult Social Care Practitioners to source the right care and support for residents. Take ownership of brokerage systems, developing expertise in digital platforms like eBrokerage and CareCubed. Support improvements in workflows to make services more efficient, reduce costs, and enhance resident experience. Build productive relationships with colleagues, providers, and stakeholders across health and social care. We’re looking for someone who: Has experience in health and/or social care settings, including multidisciplinary teams. Embraces digital tools and new ways of working. Can plan and organise their work and lead others effectively to deliver high-quality results. Builds strong relationships and communicates confidently with colleagues, stakeholders, and residents. Understands relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and NHS Continuing Health Care. Is numerate and confident in interpreting financial and performance information.
