Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes across various projects. Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
* Apply paint using spray equipment.
* Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during surface preparation and finishing tasks.
* Conduct minor repairs or touch-ups to achieve smooth and even finishes.
* Assist with fabrication or assembly tasks as needed to support project requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in construction painting, warehouse painting, or related fields is preferred.
* Mechanical knowledge relevant to handling tools and equipment used in painting and fabrication.
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic fabrication techniques.
* Good Time Keeping
* Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to work tasks.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
