adi Electrical – Approved Electrician
CompEx experience is advantageous, and we welcome applications from electricians with current or previous hazardous area certification.
Location - Field-based role, covering multiple sites across the North-West.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our growing team at adi Electrical. In this role, you will carry out the installation, testing, and inspection of low-voltage electrical systems across a variety of industrial sites. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality, safe, and compliant electrical works for our customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Safely isolate existing live circuits in line with Safe Electrical Isolation procedures.
* Install a wide range of low-voltage wiring systems.
* Install various cable containment systems to a high standard.
* Test, commission, and energise electrical systems up to 400V, including new and modified installations.
* Ensure all work complies with operational procedures, safe working practices, and Health & Safety requirements.
* Read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and technical drawings.
* Carry out reasonable additional tasks aligned with the role, always seeking to add value.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
* AM2 industry assessment of occupational competence
* Proven experience in the industrial sector is a must-have for this role
* Confidence working both independently and as part of a wider team
* A full UK driving licence
* CompEx certification/experience is desirable; we are open to considering candidates with current or previous CompEx experience.
