About the Role: Provide first-line technical support to staff and students, ensuring the smooth operation of ICT equipment and fostering a positive learning environment. Maintain and troubleshoot a range of ICT hardware and software, including computers, tablets, networks, and associated applications. Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's ICT strategy, aligning it with the evolving needs of the school community. Work collaboratively with teachers and administrators to integrate technology effectively across the curriculum. Maintain accurate records of ICT equipment and undertake routine preventative maintenance tasks. The Ideal Candidate: Possesses a strong understanding of ICT hardware, software, and network systems. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think on their feet and explain technical concepts clearly. Has effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive working relationships with colleagues and students. Exhibits a strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Holds a relevant technical qualification and demonstrable experience in a school or similar educational setting (desirable).
