Duties of the Service Advisor include:
8. Managing customer vehicle Job Cards and scheduling service appointments
9. Liaising with the workshop to ensure service jobs are completed efficiently and on time
10. Interpreting customer concerns and relaying the information accurately to Vehicle Technicians
11. Communicating with customers about additional work required and estimates
12. Handling customer bookings and greeting clients professionally
13. Managing customer complaints and queries with empathy
14. Monitoring vehicles through the workshop process
15. Collaborating with the sales team for effective job prioritisation
Candidate requirements for the Service Advisor position:
16. Previous experience in a service or parts advisor role within the motor trade
17. Strong communication and customer service skills
18. Knowledge of dealer management systems such as Kerridge or Keyloop is beneficial but can be taught
19. Proactive, personable, and capable of working well within a team
