A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking to recruit Electrical and Mechanical Field Service Engineers. You will be responsible for managing maintenance activities for Siemens Energy products, performing on-site activities in collaboration with the business, customers, and contractors, in line with the site program.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Service, maintain, and provide technical support across the full range of SGT products and systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Ensure environmental, health, and safety matters are addressed when on-site, completing risk assessments, method statements, and legislative training.
* Produce reports supporting the activities undertaken.
* Work independently with minimal supervision, providing high-quality service to customers.
* Understand customer needs, building relationships with external customers and internal colleagues.
* Seek to add value through remote diagnostic support and training services.
* Identify new service sales opportunities, including system upgrades, demonstrating commercial awareness.
* Strive for first-time fix solutions to reduce breakdown times and costs.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal support departments, coordinating service activities on customer sites to ensure compliance.
* Explain issues and solutions clearly to customers and end users.
* Provide feedback on persistent on-site issues and suggest improvements for product documentation and warranty processes.
What You Bring
* Proven engineering background with an advanced apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical maintenance and at least five years of experience with rotating equipment, focusing on controls or mechanical systems. Experience with control systems like PCS7, ControlLogix, MKII, and S7.
* Experience with the full range of SGT products and systems.
* Flexibility for global travel and ability to mobilize at short notice.
* Ability to work in offshore environments.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Strong customer focus and ability to lead international teams, with cultural awareness.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office IT systems.
