We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Finance Director to join a prominent organisation in Northern Ireland. This role is crucial for overseeing financial operations during a transitional period, ensuring the organisation's financial health and strategic direction.
Your new role
1. Lead all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
3. Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
4. Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
5. Mentor and lead the finance team to achieve organisational goals.
6. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and control.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective leadership and communication abilities.
* Experience in the public sector or with development projects is a plus.
* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
