About the Role
Are you a technical leader with a passion for R&D and Payment Security? Sovereign Secure Limited is seeking an IT Project Lead to spearhead the development of our proprietary Payment Compliance Framework.
This isn't just a maintenance role; you will be at the heart of our innovation hub in Accrington, defining the architecture for complex compliance modules and leading a dedicated offshore software development team to bring these R&D projects to life.
What You'll Do:
Lead Offshore Teams: Act as the technical bridge between our UK headquarters and our offshore developers, ensuring seamless sprint delivery and code quality.
Innovate: Drive the R&D scope for our next-generation Payment Compliance Systems.
Strategise: Create comprehensive delivery roadmaps, managing critical paths and high-value budgets.
Secure: Implement rigorous risk mitigation strategies to ensure all software meets global payment security standards.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in Software Project Leadership (ideally within an R&D environment).
Strong background in Payment Compliance Frameworks (PCI DSS or similar).
Expertise in managing offshore development teams across different time zones.
Strategic mindset with the ability to communicate complex technical risks to senior stakeholders.
Relevant RQF Level 6 qualification (or equivalent professional experience).
