About the job and your team

Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, you will will control all non-metal purchasing, receiving and maintenance of non-metal warehouse inventories. The Stores Person will support Site processes by maintaining supplies of all non-metal consumables required during the operation as well as working with the maintenance dept. to maintain supplies of critical spare parts.

You will work on

1. Evaluating purchase decisions
2. Comparing products, suppliers, pricing and logistics
3. Producing accurate purchase orders
4. Complete the goods receipt process to ensure timeliness and accuracy
5. Working with accounts payable group to ensure timely, efficient payments process
6. Ensuring multi-user warehouse is maintained in good order and meets 5s standards
7. Maintaining accurate inventories based on regular cycle counts
8. Work closely with maintenance and production departments to ensure supplies are maintained
9. Regularly review systems to ensure that processes are functioning properly
10. Taking initiative to improve current systems
11. Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams such as technicians engineers and stores.
12. Keep up to date with innovations, regulation and new technology that can impact on the business.
13. Liaise with external contractors to ensure RAMS are obtained for any work to be carried out on site
14. Adapt current manual inputting of data towards a computerized maintenance management software and or ERP

Your qualifications and skills

15. Experience within a stores environment preferred
16. Good attention to detail
