Reporting to: Financial Controller (revenue accounting) Status: Permanent, full-time Works with: Finance team and Revenue function Purpose: Provide accurate, timely revenue reporting, reconciliations, and analysis to support financial management, planning, and external obligations. The role ensures strong linkage between operational revenue activity and financial records, enabling reliable insight for management and trustees. Principal accountabilities: Revenue Reporting & Reconciliation Perform monthly reconciliations between Salesforce and Business Central to ensure accurate revenue recognition and complete records. Maintain and enhance revenue reporting frameworks and schedules. Prepare timely revenue reports and analysis for management, trustee packs, and relevant committees. Forecasting, Budgeting & Insight Assist with monthly revenue forecasting and provide concise commentary on drivers, risks, and opportunities. Prepare budget vs actual analyses across all revenue streams and support the annual budgeting cycle. Develop practical models and schedules that improve visibility of pipeline, phasing, and multi-currency impacts. Grant & Funding Support Collaborate with fundraising teams to meet grant reporting requirements (including timesheet and cost-allocation evidence where applicable). Help embed simple, auditable processes for grant tracking and compliance. Collaboration & Data Quality Work closely with finance colleagues to ensure underlying accounting data is complete, timely, and well-controlled. Partner with teams using Salesforce and Business Central to improve data capture, reconciliations, and workflow hand-offs. Contribute to dashboards and automated reporting with colleagues responsible for management information. Compliance, Audit & External Reporting Prepare revenue-related audit deliverables and respond to auditor queries. Support information requests for external filings (e.g., Form 990) and annual insurance renewals. Apply IFRS/GAAP revenue recognition principles consistently and document key judgements. Continuous Improvement & Ad-hoc Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, reduce manual effort, and strengthen controls. Undertake ad-hoc analysis and projects as requested by the Financial Controller. Skills & Attributes Highly organised, methodical, and accurate; comfortable managing multiple deadlines. Commitment to the organisation’s mission and values, with sensitivity to a not-for-profit context. Qualifications & Experience Essential ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent). Solid understanding of revenue recognition and IFRS/GAAP reporting. Experience preparing management reports and reconciliations, including multi-currency. Advanced Excel and strong data handling. Preferred Experience in an international environment and/or not-for-profit setting. Familiarity with Business Central and Salesforce; grant tracking experience.
