Job Description:
End Point Assessor - Apprenticeship - Play Worker L2
Reference: PWL2
Job description: Independent end-point assessor for Play Worker L2. About Pearson: Pearson is the world's leading learning company, with 35,000 employees in more than 70 countries, dedicated to helping people of all ages make measurable progress through learning. We prioritize the apprentice at the center of our activities to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Overview of the independent end-point assessor role
The government requires all apprenticeships to include an end-point assessment (EPA) to holistically evaluate the Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors (KSBs) learned during the apprenticeship. This ensures apprentices meet employer standards and are fully competent in their roles. Pearson provides confidence to employers that completing an apprenticeship signifies readiness for employment, with consistent assessment standards across different settings.
An independent EPA means assessors have no conflicts of interest and are independent of the training providers. Assessments can be conducted onsite or remotely, with outcomes recorded and justified. These assessments are quality assured by Pearson.
