Somerset Bridge Group is seeking a Senior Account Analyst to join our Pricing department, focusing on managing internal accounts to support customer and commercial outcomes aligned with our underwriting strategy through data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the creation of reports to monitor all account areas effectively.
2. Review account KPIs to ensure product performance benefits customers and the business, providing recommendations and identifying risks.
3. Collaborate with Pricing teams to understand the impact of price changes on customers and the business.
4. Develop and track business plans.
5. Analyze book mix, premium movements, channel performance, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
6. Assess macroeconomic trends, external factors, and claims inflation.
7. Mentor junior colleagues through coaching and feedback.
8. Assist in preparing Fair Value Assessments.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, or Snowflake.
* Knowledge of the insurance market and its competitive landscape.
* Expertise in Excel and data analysis.
* Understanding of insurance product pricing.
* Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting multiple data sources.
* Proven report creation and data analysis track record.
* Background in mathematics, finance, or statistics.
* Experience with finance and budgeting processes.
* Operational experience (claims, sales) is advantageous.
* Experience supporting junior team members.
