The Role
* Take ownership of the technical development and lifecycle management of a complex electronic subsystem
* Act as the design authority, ensuring systems meet certification, safety, and performance requirements
* Oversee verification and validation activities to support system acceptance and compliance
* Engage across multiple engineering disciplines including systems, software, electronics, and mechanical engineering
* Support the evolution of both hardware and software design to meet changing operational requirements
* Manage technical risks and opportunities throughout the product lifecycle
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across design and delivery functions
* Contribute to in‑service support, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Experience or strong interest in design leadership within complex engineering environments
* Understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes
* Ability to manage technical risk and support decision‑making across product development
* Experience working with requirements at system, subsystem, or component level
* Broad knowledge of hardware and software integration within electronic systems
* Ability to support verification activities and interpret test evidence for certification purposes
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
