THE ROLE
As a C&I Cable List Engineer, your activities will be the following:
Concatenate and check the consistency of input data to be used for the C&I cabling activity.
Evaluate the input data maturity provided by system, equipment contract, C&I and cabling engineers.
Produce all the documents necessary for building the C&I cable list.
Monitoring of the filling rate of C&I Junction Boxes, Marshalling and electrical penetration
Monitor the production of the design office deliverables and ensure they are produced following relevant quality management system.
Identify, monitor and progress open points, design change, interfaces in order to have a vision of the evolution of the activity maturity, ensure traceability, as well as proper configuration management.
Carry out the necessary reporting and indicators for the project within the team and toward the client for the scope under the Electrical C&I Cabling Engineer responsibility.
Represent the entity and support technical discussions with the client for the assigned scope of activity.
In an attempt to depict the main steps of the delivery process, you will be in charge of the following activities:
Confirm the project data & internal organisation with the discipline Lead (budget, time schedule, author – checker – approver).
Identify the relevant stakeholders and means.
Record risks in the related register and propose mitigation plan, if any.
Arrange pre-job brief / kick-off meeting.
Open the study file.
Produce the deliverables in compliance with the client's engineering procedures and taking into account lessons learned from other projects.
Survey commissioning deliverables elaborated by others (e.g. contractors) with respect to project standards.
Support C&I function tests at test bay (in France) including test result assessment.
Report progress towards initial time schedule & budget.
Update risk register on a need basis.
You will oversee the C&I engineering activities related to several systems and participate in any transverse engineering activities involving C&I.
During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics. Your understanding of the technical and environmental challenges will allow you to take on complex and critical transversal studies.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience in producing design documentation.
Experience in Conventional HMI (SICS) system and interfaces with different C&I systems.
Experience in Gateway communication between TXS and TXP technologies.
Basic knowledge of the hardware and software products of TXS technology.
Basic knowledge of different lines of defence in the nuclear industry for C&I systems.
Sound knowledge in TXP technology – both hardware and software products: Engineering and Commissioning Tools, Operating and Monitoring System, Diagnosis system, Bus systems including Industrial Ethernet and Profibus DP fieldbus.
Understanding of the hardware backup system.
Understanding and reading of the C&I logic diagrams.
Ability to propose fit-for-purpose technical solutions in their area of expertise.
Capability of coordinating technical topics that may involve several engineering disciplines (mechanical, fluid/HVAC, C&I) and suppliers.
Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to communicate clearly and accurately, proactive and confident in communicating with others, proactive in developing positive working relations with others within the project.
Good writing skills with a focus on the drafting of test procedures and test coverage substantiation files.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Knowledge of EPR electrical distribution design principles, Control and Instrumentation architecture and Safety Classification.
Knowledge or relevant experience in the nuclear industry.
Experience in working on an operating plant or on an industrial site.
Ability to speak and write technical documents in French.
