Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: St Paul's
Salary: £45,000 Basic + Overtime + Benefits
Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-maintained corporate office building located in St Paul’s, London. This is a standalone role overseeing landlord services across a 7-floor commercial property, offering excellent overtime opportunities, training, and long-term career progression.
This position would suit an engineer who is confident working independently and has strong all-round building services maintenance experience within commercial environments.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of all landlord building services, ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
* Reactive maintenance and fault finding
* Electrical maintenance across landlord areas
* Maintaining HVAC systems and associated plant
* Pumps, cooling towers and water treatment systems
* Legionella monitoring and compliance tasks
* General building services maintenance
* Escorting subcontractors where required
* Maintaining site logbooks and compliance records
* Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Candidate Requirements
* Electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
* Previous experience within commercial building maintenance
* Strong understanding of building services systems
* Experience with HVAC plant, pumps, cooling towers and Legionella tasks
* Able to work independently as the sole engineer on site
* Good communication and client-facing skills
