Strong in Maths and ready to make a measurable impact?

A forward-thinking primary school in Gateshead is seeking a Maths graduate to lead targeted Year 6 intervention sessions ahead of SATs.

This is a full-time, term-time role, 8.30am to 3.30pm.


Your responsibilities will include

* Delivering small group SATs booster sessions

* Supporting pupils with reasoning and problem-solving

* Tracking pupil progress alongside the class teacher

* Supporting whole-class lessons where required

* Building confidence in pupils who need extra support

This is an ideal stepping stone into primary teaching or teacher training.


We’re looking for

* A Maths or related degree

* Clear communication skills

* Confidence explaining mathematical concepts

* Interest in pursuing a PGCE or school-based training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
