The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.*New pass welcome*Shift (Full time or part time) -
* Part time - Sunday 4am start Monday and Tuesday 10am - 14:00pm starts
* Full time - (shifts between Sunday to Saturday 10am - 14:00pm starts
Pay Rate:Class 2
* Days - £15.56 per hour PAYE
Class 1
* Days - £16.50 per hour PAYE
Location: Crawley RH10Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanentThe role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.Requirements:. Experience would be preferred but new passes will be considered Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Cat C) Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills.
