ARC HD Services Ltd is part of Community Integrated Care and is a specialist care provider that delivers residential care and 1:1 support for young people aged 9-18 who face significant social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. These include conditions such as ASD, ADHD, PTSD, eating disorders, and trauma-related behavioural challenges. They operate three children's homes, each designed to support up to three young people. The homes are warm, welcoming, and homely, with a strong emphasis on individualised, child-centred care. Each young person has their own bedroom, bathroom, and lounge, alongside communal areas for meals and social interaction.


Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated, caring Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in New Milton, Hampshire on a full time permanent contract supporting the next generation of stars to live the best life possible.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role

Woodside is a calm, homely, and therapeutic bungalow supporting up to three young people aged 11-18. We specialise in helping children and adolescents facing mental health challenges including ASD, ADHD, PTSD, eating disorders, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and significant childhood trauma.

About the Home

* A spacious bungalow with private bedrooms, bathrooms, and lounges for each young person.
* A large communal lounge and dining room for shared meals and connection.
* A private back garden with a summer house and outdoor seating.
* Located in the village of Grateley, with easy access to Andover, Salisbury, Southampton, Basingstoke, and the New Forest.
* Grateley train station is a short walk away, offering direct links to London in under two hours.
* Surrounded by rustic walks and nature, ideal for those who love the outdoors.


Role Details

* You'll work 1:1 with a young person during each shift.
* Successful candidates will work alongside an experienced Registered Manager and within a staff team guided by a skilled mental health nurse and a child and adolescent psychiatrist. The home operates a 4 nights on and 4 nights off rota system and this particular role is a part time role (e.g., 2 nights on and 6 nights off). NB salary shown is for a full time and will be pro-rata'd accordingly for a part time role.
* You'll receive specialist training in attachment theories, trauma-informed practice, and other relevant areas.

Requirements

Whilst previous experience is desirable it is not essential as you will be trained and supported to work with our young people. You do however, need to be passionate about working in this type of environment, to encourage our young people's participation in education, provide social and independence learning opportunities and emotional support. A full driving license for a manual car and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check are preferred. NB - ARC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share that commitment. Additional Information

We offer a competitive salary, career development opportunities and 6 weeks paid holiday per year. A typical working week would be 39 hours plus one sleeping-in duty, usually 39 hours over three days (two 15-hour days and one 9-hour day). Staff benefit from having one in three weekends off.
