This is an exciting opportunity to form part of a new Special School Nurse team within Wirral providing care to children with medical and clinical need within these schools .

We currently deliver outstanding 0-19 and 0-19+ Health and Wellbeing Services across Wirral, Cheshire East and St Helens, supporting over 207,000 children and young people. If you are an enthusiastic and forward thinking nurse who wants to make a real difference to children and their families then this could be the opportunity you have been looking for, offering a variety of work to the successful candidate that will include public health and safeguarding .
You should possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills together with an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. An in depth knowledge of the current health agenda relating to childrens services is essential.
You will be joining a proactive skill mixed team working together to deliver and support needs for children within Wirral Special Schools. As part of the 0-19 Service which includes Health Visiting and School nursing you will be working closely with other local statutory, health and voluntary agencies to provide accessible, person centred packages of care in response to individual and local need. You will be working in partnership across the areas .
