Maintenance Operative Mirren Park, Paisley, Renfrewshire, PA3 1NS Salary: £27,342.02 - £30,459.98 per annum (DOE) Hours per Week: 40 Per Week (Monday to Friday) Contract Type: Permanent The Role of Maintenance Operative: Undertake general maintenance, security, porterage and cleaning service at Mirren Park School: To undertake various regular statutory checks including Asbestos visual check, fire alarm weekly and periodic tests, water checks etc. Respond effectively to all urgent maintenance and repair tasks as they arise. Undertake general repairs and maintenance around the site or organise repairs to be made by a contractor. Work as an effective team member with maintenance and cleaning staff, support staff and teaching staff. Supervise all external contractors ensuring that all necessary procedures and policies are adhered to. Requirements: Knowledge of general maintenance relating to buildings, mechanical and electrical services, decoration, plumbing and gardening. Time served experienced Tradesman and all-round experience in a number of trades. Manual handling techniques and Health & Safety in the workplace, Knowledge of use of power tools and other general maintenance equipment. Hold a full driving license.
