An established Independent Fostering Agency is seeking an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join its supportive fostering team covering the Nottingham and Derby area. This is an excellent opportunity for a social worker with fostering experience who is looking for a manageable caseload, flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with foster carers and young people. With a caseload of approximately seven fostering households, this role offers the chance to focus on quality practice and achieving positive outcomes for children and families. Key Responsibilities Provide supervision, guidance and support to foster carers. Undertake annual reviews and foster carer assessments. Support the recruitment, assessment and development of foster carers. Ensure safeguarding and child protection responsibilities are fulfilled at all times. Support foster carers to meet the needs of children and young people in placement. Attend and contribute to reviews, meetings and care planning processes. Maintain accurate records and complete reports within required timescales. Work closely with local authorities and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children. About You To be considered for this role, you will need: Qualified Social Worker status. Current Social Work England registration. Previous fostering experience. Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage a caseload independently. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. What's on Offer? Salary of £39,000 - £41,000 depending on experience. £1,500 annual car allowance. Hybrid working arrangement.
