Duties as a Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester will include:
6. Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to high standards
7. Perform MOT testing and ensure vehicles meet required safety and emissions standards
8. Carry out routine maintenance including brake work, engine repairs, and component replacements
9. Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify faults efficiently
10. Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
11. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure outstanding customer service
12. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe workshop environment
Requirements that the Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester will need:
13. Qualified to Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
14. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with at least 4 years in a busy workshop environment
15. MOT Tester certification is essential
16. Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to detect faults accurately
17. Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
18. Excellent team player with good communication skills
19. Flexible, motivated, and committed to meeting targets and deadlines
