Oliver Bernard are working with a fast-scaling FinTech who are building the next generation of digital banking for ambitious and high-growth businesses.
We're looking for a Staff Engineer to work across multiple squads ensuring the right trade offs are being made. You will be one of the technical voices in the business and demonstrate technical excellence across squads and the wider organisation.
You must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and have experience building large scale systems. You'll be overseeing high performing engineering teams, working on cloud-native banking platforms, and shaping products that directly influence customer outcomes and economic growth.
You’ll need to be pro-AI and already be using AI-assisted tools and agents such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex, etc.
Tech Stack: Python, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, MySQL, GCP/AWS, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, TDD.
This is a flexible hybrid role and the team are meeting up 1-2 days a week in London.
Salary is paying between £130k-£140k plus a strong benefits package (including bonus and equity).
