Job Overview
This role supports the Healthier Lifestyle Service in the West London NHS Trust by managing patient data, coordinating appointments, and providing administrative and clinical support to the team.
Main Duties
* Process and track incoming referrals and patient queries related to the smoke‑free service.
* Enter and maintain patient data on Quit Manager and SystmOne.
* Assist with day‑to‑day team operations, including appointment scheduling, liaising with GP practices, and triaging telephone calls.
* Carry out general administrative tasks such as uploading clinical information, photocopying and supporting Health Improvement Practitioners and Tobacco Dependency Advisors.
* Plan and execute health promotion events to raise public awareness of the service.
* Manage the service’s social media account and content.
* Deliver professional, compassionate care and ensure patients have a positive experience.
* Promote teamwork and partnership with other health‑care teams.
Qualifications
* Numeracy and literacy skills sufficient to keep accurate records. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Experience
* Previous experience working in an NHS setting.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel and Word.
* Working knowledge of SystmOne and Quit Manager.
Knowledge
* Experience in collating data for service development and audit.
* Capable of maintaining electronic patient records.
* Skill in drafting letters and reports using Microsoft Word.
* Experience in basic reporting and audits with SystmOne and Quit Manager.

* Ability to keep accurate, timely, concise and legible clinical records, both electronic and handwritten, in accordance with Trust policies.
