I'm working with a growing, specialist firm that operates in a very different space to a traditional accountancy practice. The work is fast-paced, client-focused, and offers exposure to complex, high-value financial affairs.
This is an opportunity to step into a role where you'll be trusted with your own portfolio, while continuing to develop your technical and advisory skills.
The role
You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of clients, supporting them with their day‑to‑day UK tax requirements, while working closely with senior members of the team.
* Managing your own portfolio of clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met
* Preparing and reviewing UK personal tax returns, including more complex cases
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries and providing clear guidance
* Liaising with internal teams to gather relevant financial information
* Supporting on advisory work and developing your technical knowledge
* Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing guidance
* Managing your workload effectively in a fast‑paced environment

* Experience in a personal tax role within practice
* ATT qualified, CTA studying/qualified, or qualified by experience
* Strong technical understanding of UK personal tax
* Ability to manage client relationships confidently
* Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* A proactive approach and willingness to develop
