Physiotherapy Assistant at Lymden Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a small and friendly team of experienced physiotherapists at our state of the art hydrotherapy and physiotherapy centre In Reigate. We treat a wide and varied client base, and you will quickly gain experience supporting people with a range of conditions and ages. We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively with a friendly yet professional manner. Training opportunities will be available as you support the physiotherapists, and in time, have some responsibility for your own caseload under their direction. Competitive rates of pay and pension apply.
Full-time position - 37.5 hours a week (Mon - Fri)
Work experience in this field is an advantage but not essential.
Training will be provided
Age 18 or over
At least 5 GCSE's including English and Maths. An enhanced DBS (we will apply for this on your behalf)
Basic IT skills and good written English
Water confident as you will be expected to be in the hydrotherapy pool with some of our clients
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work with children and people with physical, sensory, and communication impairments and learning difficulties
The job involves assisting the physiotherapy team with clinical, housekeeping, pool management and administrative duties (including the taking of bookings, assisting with record keeping and helping to organise training courses).
There will be opportunities to develop your skills in this role, training will be provided and courses funded where appropriate.
